Although he had found success as a Realtor with other northern Virginia-based brokerages, Clay longed for the opportunity to be a part of a mature, time-tested organization whose focus was on the quality of each transaction, not quantity. Upon meeting the Engel & Völkers Tysons team, Clay knew his search was over.    Prior to his entry into the real estate industry, Clay has held multiple senior-level positions within the Department of the Navy and National Intelligence Community. He now enjoys leveraging the analytic and negotiation skills gained in those positions in advising Engel & Völkers clients in making interest-based, financially sound decisions.    Clay is well travelled. Prior to calling northern Virginia home in 2013, he lived with his wife and children in Southeast Asia for more than 18 years and visited and worked in numerous European nations. Clay believes his consequent exposure and understanding of different cultures further enhances his ability to advise international clientele. Clay holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Management from Troy University and a M.S. in National Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. He is an avid reader and student of world history.
